Daytimers

Within an hour of Oak Park there are LOTS of places to explore. Daytimers is a group for adults at any stage of life who typically meet on the 2nd Tuesday or Thursday each month. The group takes trips to local sights followed by a meal. Contact the office to make your RSVP. Check out these upcoming events:

September 10: Fermi Lab, Batavia. What are we made of? How did the universe begin? What secrets do the smallest, most elemental particles of matter hold, and how can they help us understand the intricacies of space and time? Since 1967, Fermilab, the U.S. premier particle Physics laboratory, has worked to answer these and other fundamental questions and enhance our understanding of everything we see around us.  We will visit educational displays and have a chance to observe the local bison herd.  Lunch will be at a restaurant near the Lab.

October 17: Cernan Center at Triton College. We will have lunch at Café 54 on campus and visit the center in the afternoon.

November 13: will be the semi-annual bunco party at First Baptist.  Daytimers is open to anyone who can take time to join us for each event.
