Christian Education during Social Distancing

During this time in our world where we cannot come together in person to worship or participate in faith formation activities at church, I am reminded that the most influential people in developing faith in our children are their parents. Despite the many things that pull our children in so many directions, it is the words and actions of parents that run the deepest in our children's minds and hearts.

As the world around us is chaotic and crazy, our children will be looking to their parents to help make sense of it all. What a wonderful opportunity to reiterate the message of God's love and grace that surpasses everything. And to share the message that God walks with us through suffering and uncertainty.

In the coming days (once the "noise" settles down a bit), I will be sending along some tips, ideas, and lessons that can be used at home for discussion and devotions. In the meantime, please know that I am here for children, teens, and parents that may need an encouraging word. I am holding you all in prayer.
