Time Away to Rest and Pray

We've done so much in this past year! As parents we've had to put on our hats of educator, therapist, cheerleader, and probably playmate much more often than during "regular time." As a church, we've had to rethink the way we do every ministry at a time when we were looking for things to get back to "normal" with the return to our building post-fire. Add to that the stress of political upheaval, racial injustice, and coping with an ever-changing pandemic, and I'm guessing we're all pretty tired.

I am grateful to have the opportunity to take some extended time to rest in the form of a 3 month sabbatical. I pray that you, too, will find some time during the summer months to take a break from it all and just rest. You've done an extraordinary thing this past year under unprecedented circumstances. In case you haven't heard from anyone else: Good Job!!!

I will return to normal office hours on August 1, ready to hit the ground running to get our 2021-2022 faith formation program underway. In the meantime, please contact the Kimberly at the church office with any time-sensitive matters. Peace be with you.
