Jazz Prayer

Friday, January 17 at 7:30 pm

I'm Beginning to See the Light is the theme which will explore the many ways that light changes things. It exposes things that were always present, but not previously seen. It brings an awareness and sharpening of focus. It beckons one towards a radiating hope. Doors open 7:10 with refreshments; music begins at 7:30 p.m. This gathering is designed to be meaningful and comfortable for people who consider themselves "spiritual but not religious” and for people who love jazz music performed well.  All are welcome.

Women's Retreat

Open Doors: Stepping Out In Faith, January 24-25, 2020

Facing changes in life can be a challenge even when the changes are good. Sometimes it is difficult to take that first step. At this year’s Women’s Retreat, we will be exploring Open Doors—those times and places in our lives that beckon us to step out in faith and move into something new. The retreat takes place on January 25 at Techny Towers Retreat Center in Northbrook. Come Friday night to make it an overnight escape, or join us for just the program portion on Saturday.

Registration is underway, so be sure to pick up a brochure with registration form today! Questions? Talk to Deaconess Debbie.
