Jazz Prayer: Arise!

Jazz Prayer: Arise! Friday, April 16, 7:30pm

Spring has finally arrived after a very long and very gloomy winter. Months of isolation and cold are suddenly transformed into brightness and warmth. Green trees and grass beckon us outdoors, where we are able to see our neighbors from afar. In so many ways, we see life returning to the earth. Something new is rising up from the places that seemed dead and barren. It has been a long, long winter. Time to focus on the new -- Arise!

Watch with us Live on Facebook at 7:30 p.m. or on YouTube.

Crop Walk 2021

Around the world hunger has grown as a problem while we fight the corona virus. Our own Food Pantry has lines going for blocks. You can make a difference in several ways. First, go to the Good Shepherd team page. You can make a donation and become a team member. Then share the team page with everyone on your social media page. Help alleviate hunger today.

Safe Water Project

Thank you for your generous donations towards the ELCA Safe Water Project. During the Lent season, we raised enough money to provide clean, safe water for up to 500 families. Your generosity helped us surpass our goal of $2500.00! Way to go!!

COVID-19 Information

When you enter the building, you will need to sign in and use the hand sanitizer. The sign in sheets are used both for contact tracing as well as an indication that those who enter are sympton-free. Masks and social distancing are expected when in the building. Read more »

Celebrate Pentecost with Red Geraniums

Sunday, May 23, 2021 - 9:00am

Help "Paint the Sanctuary Red" on Pentecost with a garden of geraniums or help paint the Good Shepherd garden pink with wild geraniums. Order through the mail with the order form provided in the May newsletter, in person during office hours at church, or online here. Please note in the comments if you are choosing a potted or a wild geranium and if you'd like to dedicate your flowers to someone. Pentecost is on May 23 and plants must be ordered by May 9th.

After Pentecost, if you choose a potted red geranium, plants may be taken home to be enjoyed in your own garden.
