At-Home Sunday School: "Fruit of the Month Club"

During the 2020-2021 year, we are doing at-home Sunday School through our Fruit of the Month Club!

Each month we will be talking about a different Fruit of the Spirit as described in Galatians 5:22-23:
"The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against such things."

Families receive a bag with ideas for fun activities, treats, outings, projects, and more! We supply all of the materials for at least one of the projects. If you would like to be included in our Fruit of the Month Club, contact Deaconess Debbie at christianed@goodshepherdlc.org.

Time Away to Rest and Pray

We've done so much in this past year! As parents we've had to put on our hats of educator, therapist, cheerleader, and probably playmate much more often than during "regular time." As a church, we've had to rethink the way we do every ministry at a time when we were looking for things to get back to "normal" with the return to our building post-fire. Add to that the stress of political upheaval, racial injustice, and coping with an ever-changing pandemic, and I'm guessing we're all pretty tired. Read more »

Good Shepherd PrayGround

Good Shepherd values our children! When we return to worshiping in person, we will once again have a Prayground space front and center.

What's a "Prayground"? It's a dedicated space in our church where little ones (suggested for ages 5 and under) can play, color and explore. It's a space where they can see and hear the pastor and worship leaders clearly. And it's a place where the congregation can celebrate the joy that your child--wiggles, noises and all--brings to our congregation!

In addition to the Prayground, Good Shepherd offers activity bags for children to use during the services, as well as a staffed nursery.
