This year’s 5:00p family-friendly Christmas Eve service will feature a mini-musical written by our music director, Carl Heine. Based on the book, “Jesus’ Birthday Party,” it involves young actors, singers, and instrumentalists. The story is about an innkeeper who couldn’t get any sleep once Mary and Joseph show up at his door. Through story and song, children tell us the story through their youthful eyes. A story 2000 years old becomes fresh and new. Student violinists and pianists lead a prelude of songs both new and old. We gather as family to sing familiar carols, celebrate a baptism, and end the service with candlelight and Silent Night. Join the livestream and find more information here.
