Daytimers to Old Joliet Prison

Daytimers will be exploring Chicagoland history this fall. On September 13, the group will visit the Old Joliet Prison. The prison opened in 1858 and closed in 2002. This is a self guided tour of the prison including the cafeteria, north segregation building, and east cell house. There is a charge of $10. Please contact the church office so tickets can purchased in advance. The group will leave Good Shepherd at 10a and lunch will be in the Joliet area.
