Live jazz interwoven with meditations and reflections.

The eighth season of Jazz Prayer concludes on Friday, May 20 with the appropriate theme Fini! It’s been exciting having the jazz musicians in our space this year, after three plus years not in the building. Most exciting has been the inclusion of a vocalist, now that restrictions are easing a bit. In May, we have the return of Cheryl Wilson, whose amazing instrument we last heard in March. Music will feature Latin Jazz, and readings will lift up the theme of the end of things—not in the sense of sorrow, but rather something coming to fruition. Doors open at 7:10p and the music begins at 7:30p. You won’t want to miss this one!

Jazz Prayer will be offered in-person at Good Shepherd and livestreamed on our website on the third Friday of every month September through May. If you are coming in person, please remember to wear a mask.
