Narcan Training

Have you ever used a nasal spray like Flonase or Afrin? Then you can administer Narcan, a life-saving antidote for someone experiencing an opioid overdose. The Village of Oak Park has an Opioid Overdose Prevention Project and seeks to get as many people trained as possible in Narcan administration. Good Shepherd Lutheran parishioner Sheila Haennicke is a contracted trainer with the Village, which is supporting this training. Two free sessions (same content—you can attend one or the other) will be offered in July and August. Register here.
