Good Shepherd will be participating in A Day In Our Village, Oak Park’ s annual festival celebrating diversity and community involvement, on June 1 st this year. We need volunteers to make our presence at this quintessential Oak Park event possible! Could this be you? Below are all the details you might need to make your decision. 

• We are hoping for 3 volunteers to fill 5 shifts. We want you to have company as well as someone to share in the conversations with neighbors that might visit our booth.

• Volunteers will have access to materials on current Good Shepherd events available for distribution, as well as a small carnival game with giveaway prizes to share with children who visit the tent.

• Day In Our Village takes place on Sunday, June 1 in Scoville Park (next to the main library) in Oak Park. The set up and break down time slots (we are especially looking for some muscle in this area!) at 10 and 3:30 respectively are 1 hr. The time slots in the middle are 1.5 hrs.
