Sunday Worship 8.2.2020
This Sunday, join us as we "travel" to the Taizé community in France. This community was started during World War II, and still serves as a pilgrimage destination for thousands of people, especially for youth, to pray for peace. This community has created its own unique style of contemplative worship, which we will be experiencing in this service.
Sunday Worship 8.9.20
This Sunday, come along as we "travel" to Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago. Established in 1961, Trinity United Church of Christ was the first Black UCC church in Illinois. Their motto is: We are a congregation which is Unashamedly Black and Unapologetically Christian.
Sunday Worship 8.16.20
This Sunday, we welcome you to a service of healing. We invite you to reflect on boundaries in your life that you must cross in order to live in wholeness while finding peace and healing surrounded by our community of faith gathered physically apart but spiritually united. And be sure to linger following the service to hear our new hybrid organ (digital and pipe) for the very first time.
Sunday Worship 8.23.20
Camp along with us this Sunday at 9am as we travel to Sonoma County, Calif., northern Wisconsin, and Lake Erie in Ohio. We'll be singing and saying prayers around the campfires. Our guest preacher is Jenny Frantz, Director of Camp Luther. Special thanks to the Railsback/Ehresman family for recording many portions of the service while on their lake vacation.
Sunday Worship 8.30.20
This Sunday our travel is less about the destination and more about how you get there. We will be led by a diverse, inclusive and creative group of musicians, songwriters, poets, preachers and prophets, a liturgically grounded worship collective called The Many.
